Making Marks: Impressions in Texture and Line is the exhibition in the eventgallery 910Arts, from June 3 through 27. It features the paintings and pottery of Patricia Alander and the paintings of Donna Lyons. Both artists are from Grand Lake,Colorado, and eventgallery 910Arts is pleased to introduce them to Denver audiences.

Lighthouse Writers Workshop presents My Obsession

Garrett Ammon, choreographer and artistic director of the Ballet Nouveau Colorado and Alexandre O. Phillipe, Lighthouse instructor and director of the documentary The People vs George Lucas discuss their current obsessions and the process of transforming obsession into art.

The evening promises lots of multimedia fun in a dynamic interactive salon.

 

Film Night: A Farm for the Future

Thursday, June 18, 7:30-9:30pm

Free and Open to the Public, donations welcome

Wildlife filmmaker Rebecca Hosking investigates ways to transform her family's farm in Devon into a low energy farm for the future. She discovers that nature holds the key.

The film is followed by a discussion on permaculture presented by experts from Transition Denver.

Meet Patricia Alander and Donna Lyons, whose works are currently on exhibit in the eventgallery.

Patricia Alander is interested in a variety of media and, since taking a pottery class about 20 years ago, has been enamored with clay, both on the wheel and in printmaking.

Donna Lyons has been an active painter since 1989, creating works in watercolor, oil, acrylic and pastel.
