Poetry is the theme that connects the paintings of Angella Dirks, Ellwood S. Pickering, Michele Soule' and Daniel Strawn in an exhibition entitled "Poetic Symbols" in the eventgallery 910Arts, at 910 Santa Fe Drive, running from April 3 through 25. "April is National Poetry Month and our exhibition is designed to use poetic symbols to evoke the unity of color, imagery and beauty," says participating artist Michelle Soule'.

Poetic images of the people of the African nation of Malawi are featured in an exhibition entitled "Malawi: The Warm Heart of Africa / Photographs by Tim Ryan" at the eventgallery 910Arts, at 910 Santa Fe Drive, in Denver. Running from February 3 through March 31, 2009, the exhibition is designed to show a remarkable collection of photographs while raising funds and awareness for Water For People, a Denver-based non-profit organization that supports safe drinking water and sanitation projects in Africa, Latin America and Asia.
